Accepting Camp Counselor Applications
Summer Camp Counselor Applicants for Camp Giant Steps should be willing to work one-to-one with a
young person with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Asperger syndrome and be:
- At least a Senior in High School or older
- Experienced working with children and know how to play and have fun
- Available to work between the dates of June 25 - August 3, 2012
- On time to work everyday at 8:45 - 3:15
- Willing to help with set-up and clean-up daily
- Able to go into the swimming pool with camper twice weekly
- Able to supervise your camper on daily field trips
- Able to communicate with parents daily on campers’s activities
- Willing to work with a team of committed staff to benefit the children
